          Homebound Hobbies: With extra time on their hands, how are students entertaining themselves?

          PROJECT RUNWAY  Turning a pair of ordinary jeans into a hat, sophomore Talia Jacobson can be found by her sewing machine during quarantine repurposing old clothes. “It feels really good because it’s something that you made, and it’s an actual product,” Jacobson said.

          Sophie Kaplan is looking forward to another great year of Lion’s Tale work and is excited to be a News editor after serving as an Arts and Entertainment Editor this past year. Outside of newspaper work, Sophie is the vice-president of the Mental Health Awareness Club, heavily involved in the Junior State of America club, swims competitively and on the CESJDS team, and is one of the class of 2022 grade representatives.

          After working as an Arts and Entertainment Editor this past year, Eva Bard is thrilled to continue her work on the Lion’s Tale as Editor-in-Chief. Eva enjoys both designing and writing for the Lion’s Tale, but if she had to choose one, she would have to choose writing. Aside from Lion’s Tale, Eva serves as the president of the Green Team and is a member of the Student Council and Dance Team. She loves working with others, and cannot wait to collaborate with the outstanding group of reporters and editors on the Lion’s Tale this upcoming year.
