Yesterday and during this past weekend, over 18,000 Americans of different faiths and political affiliations gathered in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. for the annual AIPAC policy conference to rally around their shared vision: to support the robust alliance between the United States and Israel. Throughout the three-day event, guest speakers, experts, American and Israeli government officials and politicians from around the world spoke to the large audience about critical issues and threats facing the United States, Israel, and the global Jewish population today. The event renewed the group’s persistent calls for American leaders to support Israel in a bipartisan spirit and to unite around their common vision for a strong, everlasting U.S.-Israel relationship.
