A group of CESJDS high school students went on an optional trip to tour Gallaudet University and visited a Starbucks on Monday, where everyone communicates through American Sign Language. “We thought this trip to Gallaudet would be an interesting idea for students to learn about and experience the deaf and hard of hearing community and culture,” Director of Jewish Life Stephanie Hoffman said.
