“I think Veterans Day is important because a lot of times we think about all the great stuff we have, but I really think the veterans are important …. We never really think about the American veterans and they are really a key part of our country,” Weitzner said. “Veterans day is an opportunity [to welcome family members to the school] because it is meaningful to be able to celebrate Veterans Day with the people in our families that were veterans, and they can talk about their experiences.
