Irit Skulnik, News Editor
Irit Skulnik is excited to continue working on the Lion’s Tale as Style Editor after previously being Assistant Style Editor and a reporter. In her free time, Irit is very involved with a local youth group, NCSY. Irit also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her dogs. Irit loves the community within the Lion’s Tale staff who have helped her grow and strengthen as a writer and editor. Irit is thrilled to continue her work of keeping the JDS community informed about events and relevant issues.
Sophia Miller, Sports Editor
Sophia Miller is looking forward to another year working on the Lion’s Tale as sports editor after previously being assistant sports editor. In addition to managing her section, she spends her time playing on the CESJDS Varsity Basketball, Softball, Track, and Cross Cross Country teams. She also enjoys participating in the debate club, JSA, and writing for the Hebrew literary magazine. She is excited for the year to come and to show the JDS community different aspects of athletics and other issues in the school.
Sally Rogal, Features Editor
Sally Rogal is looking forward to continuing her time on Lion’s Tale as the Features Editor after previously being a reporter. In addition to Lion’s Tale, she enjoys baking, watching TV, and walking her dog. She is also part of the Debate club, Hebrew and Spanish literary magazines, and a member of the CESJDS Varsity Basketball and Softball teams. Sally is very excited for another year on Lion’s Tale and can’t wait to share more interesting stories with her community.
Daphne Kaplan, Senior In-Depth and Design Editor
Daphne Kaplan is ecstatic to continue working for The Lion’s Tale as In-Depth and Design Editors, after being Assistant Features Editor and a reporter. She is also president of her BBYO chapter, an entrepreneur and a member of the debate, JSA and mental health awareness clubs. Daphne loves working for The Lion’s Tale so that she can cover prevalent issues facing our community and ensure that the CESJDS community is well-informed about student’s accomplishments, reviews and reactions to political events.
