Musical assemblies commemorate journalist Daniel Pearl

On Friday, Oct. 14 CESJDS commemorated Daniel Pearl’s legacy by participating in Daniel Pearl World Music Day, a national initiative to honor the journalist who was killed in a terrorist attack in 2002.
On Fridays, Jewish history teacher Dan Rosenthal and Jewish text teacher Paul Blank each take their Zman Kodesh to the Cardo to participate in fun activities. In honor of Daniel Pearl World Music Day on Oct. 14, the students listened to country music.
