A look at the high school day of service

During the high school’s Lehman Day of Service on April 13 2022, 9th Grade CESJDS students were divided into groups to go to different venues and help several communities. One of the venues, “Bikes for the World” in Rockville, Maryland, displays bike wheels at the front of their building. Outreach coordinator Yvette Shess said one donated bike can save up to four lives. Donating bikes and parts of bikes to this nonprofit allows those in other countries to get to their jobs, as bikes are their primary means of transportation.
